Evolving from limited Los Angeles resources, founders Sally & Bernard Lewis opened J. Robert Scott in 1972, introducing furniture and textiles collections. At the time an innovation, Lewis arranged furnishings in vignettes, providing designers and their clients with a cohesive look. Ms. Lewis remains President of the company she founded more than 45 years ago, with JRS showrooms in L.A., N.Y., Dallas & London & representative showrooms in 21 cities worldwide.
